We charge a fixed fee and a percentage of the transaction each time you accept a credit or debit card payment. The price is the same for all cards. You don’t pay anything for failed charges.
Accept international cards for an additional 1%. If currency conversion is necessary (i.e. the charge currency differs from your payout currency) a 1% conversion fee will also apply.
Disputed payments, such as chargebacks, incur a fee. If the customer’s bank resolves the dispute in your favor, the fee is fully refunded.
Scalpel automatically deposits your account's transaction balance to your company's bank account on a weekly basis.
Scalpel supports both full and partial refunds for all charges. There are no fees to refund a charge, but the fees from the original charge are not returned. Once issued, a refund cannot be canceled. Your customers will see the refund as a credit on their account within 5 to 10 business days.
Refunds issued shortly after the original charge may be classified as a reversal instead of a refund. In this case, the original charge drops off the customer's statement and a separate credit is not issued.
Each account is given 1,000 combined sends & receives per month for free. Once that limit has been reached we charge an additional penny per message sent or received. We will automatically charge your account before the end of your billing period if your outstanding usage exceeds $25.
Each account is given 750 free minutes per month. Once that limit has been reached we charge two cents per additional minute. Each call is rounded up to the nearest minute. We will automatically charge your account before the end of your billing period if your outstanding usage exceeds $25.
Each account is given 250 Gigabytes (GB) of free storage space. We charge five cents per month for every additional GB rounded up to the nearest GB. Every file is automatically replicated to another datacenter hundreds of miles away from our primary servers to maximize availability.
